My name is Larry Wainwright, and I have been a member of Lions since 1977.

On April 16, 2014, Otis and I graduated from the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guide School Canine Vision

in Oakville.

Otis has become a well-loved member of our family and tries his very best daily to assist me in the ways he was trained. As a Lion, I am so thankful for the great training staff and volunteers at our Oakville training school, as well as the staff and volunteers at our Breeding Facility in Breslau.

We would never be as successful as we are today in our 7 Dog Guide Programs without the tremendous dedication and support from all the foster families, sponsors, Lions, Lioness and Leo’s clubs and individual donors.

Since Otis and I graduated we have participated in the Lions Foundation of Canada Walk for Dog Guides. On April 16, 2019 we have raised just under $25,000. Support is still coming in for this year’s walk.

I'm so proud to be a Lion.
