Elora Lions Club

NOT THE POLLUTION

Every year the Elora Lions Club meets early Spring after the snow melts just before or on Earth Day - April 22nd to pick up the garbage that was either tossed out of a car window, or was dropped on the ground by people passing by.

The Club is responsible for 2.2 km of Wellington County Road 7, North of County Road 21 Elora walking north to Salem just South of County Road 18 as the map shows below. 

Under no circumstances is hand collecting other people's discarded litter, rubbish, junk left on the side of the road such as 3 slightly rusty but matching hubcaps, unrecognizable food waste, dead rodents, skunks, a desirable fun way to spend the evening, but that's what gloves are for! Besides these two below certainly make it look like fun..........
